The school year
hasn't begun
and
I
am
tired.

How
did this happen?
Summer,
a time of rest,
was instead
a time of
work.
Good work
even fun work
but work.

I am tired
before
I
have
begun.

    Agreed....how can we be tired?
    I'm counting on that burst of excited energy that always comes somehow. It's a little late this year, but I know it's coming!

    I don't like summers when that happens. Summer is supposed to rejuvenate teachers so they are filled for the next drain. You can't start with a drained tank!
